This 2017 Kawai combines durable institutional construction with a compact, traditional cabinet and an attractive satin ebony finish. The 506N was designed by Kawai for durability and consistent performance under regular use. This piano has been professionally inspected, deep cleaned, regulated, and tuned to A440 concert pitch. Its frame and support structure are stable, the bridges are free of cracks, and the soundboard retains good crown. The pinblock and tuning pins are in good condition with no concerns about tuning stability. The keyboard, action, dampers and pedals are functioning properly, and all keytops are intact. The hammers show only light wear, and the tone remains even throughout most of the instrument.

The satin ebony cabinet shows minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use. The matching bench has some surface scratches and a small gouge. The soundboard has a small dent that has been confirmed to be cosmetic rather than a crack, with no structural or tonal concern. There is also very slight oxidation beginning on the wound strings, but no associated buzzing or tonal loss.
